The Ultimate Lake District Walking Adventure? Tackling Englands highest mountain by night is no mean feat and should not be underestimated. At 978m Scafell Pike stands high above Wasdale Valley, in one of the most beautiful settings the National Park has to offer. You will be guided by our highly experienced and professional Mountain Leaders. Our guides will make the route finding look easy, but be under no illusion that Scafell Pike has a reputation for people going astray. There is no 'highway' to the summit, but instead the trail, in places, becomes almost none existent as it weaves through vague paths, between other mountains, before finishing on the summit plateau boulder field. Some of our guides have been to the top of this mountain over one hundred times and know the route like the back of their gloves! National 3 Peaks? If attempting this as part of a self supported N3P team, but are opting to be guided through this night time summit, we will stay in touch with you from the moment you set off up Ben Nevis. This way we can ensure we are in place whenever you arrive, making sure we depart swiftly. PLEASE NOTE - WE WILL NOT SUPPORT TEAMS WHO DO NOT HAVE A SEPERATE DRIVER THAT IS NOT TAKING PART IN THE CHALLENGE. IT IS DANGEROUS TO ATTEMPT THIS CHALLENGE WITHOUT A DESIGNATED DRIVER. If you are not part of an N3P Team and are simply looking for your next level adventure then our departure time will depend on your wishes. Many people choose to summit just before Sunset before walking down in the dark. As always this adventure is tailored to you! LOCATION For the night time ascent we depart from the National Trust car park at Wasdale Head. If you wish to take a different route to this please get in touch, this will depend on your previous hill walking experience. PRIVATE SESSION You are booking for your group ONLY. We offer private activity sessions and you will never share your session with strangers. Once you have booked no one else can join this activity. PRICES This session is £200 per session. This includes up to 4 people. After this it is £50 extra per person. MINIMUM AGE The minimum ages for this session is 14 years old. LARGE GROUPS If booking for more than 8 people.
